Here you can find the most common validation errors during the release creation process:

Validation Error: Cover

If the message "The cover is not approved" appears after trying to distribute the release, it means you have indicated that your release has a cover or version in one or more tracks.

Validation Error: Duplicated Tracks

If the message "The release has duplicated tracks" appears when you distribute your release means that you have uploaded the same track twice, or have uploaded two tracks with the same information.

Validation Error: Publishing line

If the message "1: Track title Publishing line is required" appears after trying to distribute the release it means that the publishing rights information is missing. You should pay attention to both album and track levels.

Validation Error: Record Label

If the message "Label with a valid name is required" appears after trying to distribute the release, it means that you have not entered the name of the Label correctly.

Validation Error: Tittle, Artist, and Version

If the message "Title, artist and version must be the same on the album and track level" appears after trying to distribute the release, it means that you have not entered the title, artist, or version correctly. If the release is a one-track release, you should pay attention to album and track levels to have the same title, artist, and version in both.

Validation Warning: Label approval

If the message "Channel does not accept genre... / This release's label does not have permissions to distribute to this channel" appears after trying to distribute the release, is not a validation issue, but simply a warning that the content will not be distributed to this channel because of the necessary permission is not available.

Validation Warning: Claro Música

If the message "The composer is required" appears after trying to distribute the release, is not a validation issue, but a warning that the content does not meet the channel's specifications, and will not be distributed to that channel. Even with all metadata correctly complemented, if the Composer line is not filled you won't be able to send the release to the channel.
